the recording speed is perfect. i m using it with my powershot s3 camera. and the transfer time is for 8gb under 2min.
This card can hold about 4,000 high res images and the transfer speed is pretty quick. This can slow down transfer speeds, plus I wanted to avoid the risk of running out of room on the card just when I needed to take a picture. I shopped around and found it on most other sites for quite a bit more. I purchased a Nikon D60 camera and wanted a reliable, fast SD card that I didn't have to worry about. The D60 is a 10MP camera so the file sizes of the pictures are very large. There are faster cards, but for the $22 I spent on this one, it is a very good value.
After tranferring the pictures to my computer, it stopped working. I was able to use this card once in my Nikon D90. I am now using a generic 4GB SD card instead and it has been working for several months.
I really like Sandisk products and their Ultra line of high speed memory cards. They have performed well in just about every application I use them in from digital cameras, PDA, Cell phone, storage, etc.
Plenty of capacity and plenty fast. Great card at a great price, I'm happy. I am using this card for RAW+JPEG shooting and HD video with the Nikon D90. I have always used genuine SanDisk products (CF, SD and MicroSD) and have never had a single issue with any one of them.
